The dimensions to identify
| Information | What to show |
|---|---|
| Finished floor-to-floor height | Identify the upper and lower finished floor levels. Mark any floor finish that has not yet been installed. |
| Opening and surrounding plan | Show the opening outline, dimensions, walls, columns, doors and any changes in level. |
| Entry, exit and direction | Mark the intended first and last steps, travel direction and landing positions. |
| Section and overhead conditions | Show slabs, beams, ceilings and the available space above the intended walking route. |
| Supporting structure | Provide available structural drawings and identify where the stair could connect. The local team must verify the actual conditions. |
| Finish build-up | State intended tread, floor, wall and balustrade finishes where known. |
Photographs that help explain the site
Send overall views from the lower and upper levels, views of the opening edges and proposed connection positions, and photographs of access from the unloading point. Include a plan or sketch showing where each photograph was taken.
Record dimensions explicitly rather than asking someone to estimate scale from a photograph. Flag anything that is inaccessible, provisional or not yet built. Avoid treating an architectural drawing as a verified site measurement.
Access matters before shipping sections are fixed
Explain how components will reach the installation position. Share access openings, corridors, turns, overhead restrictions and proposed lifting arrangements with the contractor. These conditions help the team discuss component divisions and assembly access.
Tell us who measures, who checks the supporting structure and who approves the drawing. If on-site measurement by BUBUJIA is required, agree the task, timing, local arrangements and cost separately.
Keep the initial brief separate from production approval
Initial enquiry
Available plans, approximate dimensions, use, location and a design reference support the first discussion.
Technical review
Resolve the geometry, structure, finishes, interfaces, access and installation scope with the project team.
Manufacturing basis
Confirm site dimensions and approve the agreed drawing revision before production. Record changes clearly.
